if acne is a symptom of something though i wonder what it actually is in our dna that causes it ? a lot of people have helped themselves a lot with diet and stuff but it seems there are still people who have tried every little thing possible for years and still suffering.
what are you doing at the moment for you acne?
i suppose i dont feel like im going to grow out of it, cases of growing out of it all that i've read or heard about are usually related to male, i havent read anything about females growing out of it possibly more so if im stuck on the pill to try and help it aka constant hormonal treatment.
just sucks i wish it was possible to understand WHY you know.
what is it exactly that we have that a hell of a lot of people dont :/ and then to go to such extremes to try and fix it and that still usually never works

and pisses me off greatly, bcs what can you do against such stagnant, determined system like that, yea yea maybe few steps astray from its plan you can (improve or degrade n blah blah), but major drastic overall change? nope.
its actually like acne is not disease but part of you even

basically..
tried shitload.
dam persistent and stubborn to manage my acne though.
not on ideal diet tho but trying to do best i can with whats available but dont stress about some 'cheating' either, meh..
imo simply try being on good diet as much you can, sleep well, try not stress and pick good topical regimen, supplements wont hurt either if u can afford it. anyways since everyone are so different its not necessary your acne will be as bad and/or long as mine or else, each is individual case

My mother had bad acne as a teenager-- it improved after her first (of five) children. My father (supposedly) didn't have a zit in his life, but some of his siblings had hideously bad skin. Out of my four siblings and myself, only one never had formal treatment for acne. Three of us (two female, one male) have been on accutane. I have a hunch that because ance is a multi-factor thing, it's a trait that's inherited through multiple genes. Issues that supposedly cause acne: hormones, hormonal changes, diet allergies, skin type, reaction to stress-- can't get them all from one parent.

I really hope they aren't.
What a shallow and ridiculous reason to hate the people who brought you into this world. It's kind of sickening. If your parents abused you as a child, hate them all you want, but hating them because they had acne and you do too? That's absolutely revolting.
