For years i have had this, but no doctors have really been able to help me. I have tried to get help from this site as well but unable to.

I cant get my dry skin to go away, it is like a fungus that grows ON TOP of my skin, and the only way to get it away is to roughly scrub away with a towel after i get out of the shower (i do this once a week). But after i do this, my skin gets EXTREMELY red for a few days, because of the scrubbing away of the dry skin, but i have no other choice, it wont go away with lotion, because it ISNT dry skin, it is fungus on top of my skin, i dont know what to do, i probably have the worst skin on this board because of this unknown conditiion.

Has anyone heard of anything like this?

Nah, should i request a doctor to scrape it and test it? Will that finally see what it is? These derms i have been to suck ass, i swear Dermatologists are fake doctors, they took the easy path in Med school, could have gone into Orthopedic surgery but got lazy

Does it itch, burn or hurt at all? Why are you so sure it's a fungus?

Any doctor worth a crap should have done the tests without having to be asked but yes. Yes, you should ask for a scraping. Fungal tests are fairly easy and fast to get through. I had ringworm once so I'm kinda experienced with it. There are alot of different fungal medications that you could get pretty cheap over-the-counter too. But you kinda need to know what it is before you can treat it.
