Update on my progress and review:
La Roch Posay Toleriane Ultra Moisturizer for sensitive, reactive, and intolerant skin. "Neurosensine", a unique calming agent to help reduce signs of reactivity immediately upon application.
Ingredients: Aqua/water, Isocetyl Stearate, Squalane, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter/seha Butter, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Aluminum Starch Octenylsccinate, Pentylene Glycol, Peg-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethiconol, Sodium Hydroxide, Acetyl Dipetide-1 Cetylester, Acrylates/c10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer
Progress: Noticed immediate results upon application. Skin felt moisturized. Dryness and flakes were gone within 2 days of use. No itching or reaction. I'm almost 2 weeks in with use and (knock on wood) no acne flare ups as a result of product use. My redness is still there but my skin is and has always been ruddy, red, pinkish. The redness due to dry skin is gone.
Review: I would recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin, extreme dry skin and flakes, or is prone to reactions. It's a cream that delivers what it sells. It's not going to make you look younger or make your skin glow.....but it takes care with giving you everything dry, sensitive, reactive, skin so desperately needs. Nothing but the basics. That is okay with me. I need to get my skin healthy before I can even think about adding extra's into my daily routine. If my skin can go 1 day without itching, burning, flaking, and drying I'm just fine with that!

I'm currently using the toleriane lotion and so far I like it a lot. I've been using it about a week and I'm clear, but every moisturizer always breaks me out and I usually need to stop using it to go back to my clear status.
So far, my skin is really moisturized and tone and texture look so much better. It was so dry. My cheeks look rosier too and my coloring is healthier.

Good to know! Are you using the Toleriane Facial Fluid? That was my next obvious choice from this company. I decided on the the Ultra only because I am prone to redness and severe dry skin in the winter. My skin is so far so good as well! 4 weeks in and no problems. A lot of my pin sized pimples( I get those when my skin looks dr and chapped) are gone. The drier my skin gets the more pimples I get.
Every moisturizer I've ever tried (and I feel like I've tried them all) always has some downfall that doesn't make the cut. I either react or get pimples...or it does nothing but sit there. This actually works.
Thanks for the feedback-they are running a winter package deal on their site right now. I might look into that as my next purchase!

Yes, I'm using the thin fluid one.
You sound like you have my luck with moisturizers....I find the fluid to be very moisturizing, but I've only been using it a week. We'll see where I stand at the 3-4 week mark.

5 weeks in and my skin looks amazing! Redness reduced, flakes are gone, and my face finally does not itch! I can move my face and not feel like it will crack. Finding the right moisturizer is ridiculously hard for sensitive skin prone to acne. It's nice to actually put something on my skin without the fear of a breakout or reaction. Took a while to find but a company actually got it right!
@Prettywords I will most def try the Fluid Lotion in the Summer months when my skin isn't so dry and reactive. The Ultra is doing such a great job! It's ironically not heavy-perfect balance between a lotion and a cream. The difference I noticed right away was that it is actually working with my skin and not covering it or laying upon the surface. It's safe for eyelids and under eye care as well. I'm a little happy. Can ya' tell!

Update on LRP Ultra Moisturizer. I have found the one that works for my sensitive, red, dry, flaky, acne-prone, skin. Finally!!! This product works so well I bought some for my mom and my sister. I finally get the benefit of moisturizer without the worry of a break out or reaction. What impressed me the most was how much my redness has calmed down and on some parts completely disappeared.( they market this for redness and sensitive skin. I took this as hype- I guess it works!!) I had a derm appt. today. He was impressed. I've been using my CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, SA lotion, and this moisturizer. I came off anti's about 3 months ago and he was desperate to put me on a topical. I said no and waited for the shat storm to appear on face...I'm good. I'm real good. It's a little$$. But I think of all the $$$$ I've spent on less expensive products just to be disappointed. It's so worth it!
