I've been on doxycycline for 8 days now and i've noticed i have developped stomatitis (mainly on my tongue) and sorethroat.
Will it go away with time or should i stop taking it?
Also, i take it around 10 pm and in the leaflet it says that these side effects occur mostly to those who take it before they go to bed.
So what should i do? Have you experienced something like that before with any other medication??
Thanks

It might be worth checking with your doctor to see if what you're experiencing is related to Doxy or if it could be a sign of something else.
I've been taking 100gm daily for five weeks and haven't experienced any side effects at all. The time I take my pills varies a little but it's usually with my first meal of the day. I don't know if that makes any difference, compared to perhaps taking it later in the day...
