We all have or had the flaw acne, but what about other flaws? It sucks to have other flaws with acne cause you feel so messed up and out of place.

My flaws: A tad over weight, trying to shed it off now though.

shakey hands, dont know if its the phsycological effects of acne or something(didnt have this problem until sometime after acne came along), But its embarrassing when im eating.

I have a huge birth mark on my left leg, strange thing is it never bothered me as much as acne does. People would often ask "hey, were you in a fire or something?" and i would go "nah, its just a birth mark my friend". so it was cool.

I dont know if this would be counted as a flaw but my hair sucks, its always does what it wants, i'll have it fixed the way i want it and then 20 mins later its in a different postion and all mess up, lol .

You dont have to mention the most embarrassing flaw you have, just the ones your ok with telling. Posted Image

have to say though, acne is the worst flaw out of all them :/.

Acne is the only thing that really comes off the top of my head as being a flaw I have, other than that I'm pretty happy with myself. maybe another thing is I'm too hard on myself. I tend to look at the positives I have which is probably why I have trouble finding my flaws.

My lack of weight I suppose. I'm so skinny to the point where people do comment on it in a negative way and say that it isn't physically appealing. I only weigh around 110lbs and I am self conscious about it but I just cover up and wear a couple of layers of clothing. Otherwise, I pretty much ignore it because it's how I'm built and it's just who I am. There doesn't seem to be much I can do about it so I kind of accept it. Wish I could be as accepting of my skin in the same way...

I have scoliosis... it isn't too noticeable unless I'm wearing a shirt that shows my back because I'm skinny and my spine shows through my skin, so it's concealable for the most part (I've also grown my hair extremely long to help hide it during the summer). It's like an s shape... not too severe, or at least my doctors say it isn't severe enough to consider doing anything about it other than check-ups every 5 or so years to make sure it hasn't gotten worse, but it still bothers me a lot. Because of it one of my rib cages is higher than the other and it looks crooked, but then again, I don't usually wear clothes that show my rib cage. So even though I actually think that scoliosis is worse than acne, it doesn't bother me as much because it's easier to hide.

Also I hate my teeth, I have always hated my teeth and likely always will.

Sometimes I have had that feeling like my flaws just keep adding up, and why on earth do I have so many deformities?! But the problem is that when we look in the mirror we forget to look at ourselves as whole people. We focus in on the flaws. Other people's eyes don't work like that. And I've finally gotten to a point where I know that overall, at a glance, I'm really not that bad. I wish I looked different, but there are also some things about my appearance I wouldn't want to trade. There are some things I like, so I try to be thankful for that rather than feeling cursed with what I hate about myself.

I am a little overweight too, and it seems to only collect in a small tummy. hahaha. Super annoying. And my nose got broken, I got a surgery, and I'm not pleased with the results. I could go on :P Once my acne cleared up I just started obsessing about other things.

I'm a yo-yo fat kid. I gain in the winter and lose in the summer haha... Even when I'm down in my size 6's my chipmunk cheeks are still going strong. But I kind of like my cheeks now that I'm a happy person. :)

Interesting that people are exclusively posting about their physical rather than personality flaws here, hmm...

Why look for flaws?

Why is it so common for people to look at the negative in life?

All of you should love yourself and not think of flaws. Personally, I have no flaws in my eyes. I'm sure that I have them, but my out look on life is so positive that it makes it tough to think of negative things like this. I wake up with a smile and I fall asleep the same way. What more can I ask for? As long as I'm 100% honest with myself...then nothing else matters.

Emotionally and mentally? I'm a wreck, lol.

If I didn't have acne, I'd just pick out another flaw, like my nose or my freaky mood swings. It's only human to want self-improvement, but the people who can accept their flaws are the ones who are happy.

I hate my nose. My acne and nose is the only thing I hate about myself. I like my hair, my eyes, my teeth, I'm skinny and tall but my acne and nose totally ruin my face.
I don't have a huuuuge ugly nose, but is big and totally ruins me. The day I have my skin clear and a nose job i will be happy.

My acne is definitely the worst flaw, but i also think my hair is too thin, my lips are not full enough, my eyes are not even, my boobs could look better :P, my legs could be skinnier... I could go on, but it's kind of pointless, and i'm trying to accept myself more, but it's hard.

I'm about an inch taller. I'd quite like to be taller, but I'd have to get bigger at the same time otherwise I'd virtually disappear! :D

Good for you. :) In fairness, I think perhaps pointing them out and processing it as a way of accepting who we are. Like what I said about my build - I suppose I do technically see it as a flaw, but having processed it, I now see it simply as part of who I am. Then, rather than being a flaw, it's just matter of fact.
Before I answered the topic, I had to think for a moment about what I could say, and indeed if I could say anything at all. I suppose the blessing in disguise with regards to focusing on my skin so much over the years is that I haven't really spent time on other areas as well. My skin has had the bigger negative impact than my build, so I guess it's just taking longer to process and accept that particular aspect of myself. Sure it will happen one day though. :)

I tend to lose enthusiasm when embarking on projects and usually end up abandoning it halfway through. Strictly hobby related, never school related. It's odd.

I am pretty content with my body for the most part. It isn't perfect but perfect tends to vary (yes, the Greek model nonwithstanding). I used to wish to be more curvy, to have a bigger butt, ect ect...but honestly, what good does that do? So I shifted all that effort into accepting what God gave me, physically. Of course I can work out and augment my body a bit but bone structures are pretty much set. haha
