"Cones" as I refer to them confuse me. You have one side saying they are great for dry, sensitive skin. Then you have the other side saying they can clog pores and irritate skin. Cones as they say don't let skin breathe? That is even more confusing? I thought we breathed through our mouth? Even more frustrating is it is extremely difficult to find any product that does NOT have a cone listed in the product formulation if I just want to 86 the whole idea all together. I like moisturizers. I need them for my dry, dry, skin. But what I don't like is how my face turn warm or sometimes red with the use of a moisturizer. I do have pink cheeks and sensitive skin with or without a moisturizer. They go more red and warm when I do use lotion. I've done my research on my products. But why, why, even with the kindest-gentle-lotions do I feel like I'm wrapping my face in cellophane? Are there any products nix the cones that I can try? Does your skin feel like that too? Grrr. My gentle cream is rated a 1 on score from 1-10. 10 being really bad for reactive skin. No breakouts just a warm, red, face.

Well, I will update my own post. I guess I still need to do even more research on my so-called-sensitive skin products. It's not the 'cones' that are giving the red, burning, small pimples at all or making my skin feel trapped- It's mineral oil! My mom told me when I was a kid I reacted the same way to vaseline. Well, I could of saved myself $$$ if I would of just asked my mom. Anyway, I'm not against mineral oil-just doesn't work for me.......on to the next best thing.
