I basically feel that the moisturiser here is unaffordable. I went to the store yesterday and bought a 16oz bottle of cetaphil (kroger brand) for $6.00. Which means that, at ~$31.50 including shipping I'm paying over five times as much per ounce for Dan's moisturiser.
Of course, the acne.org moisturiser is superior, I won't argue that. However, I liked the old formula better. My main issue is with the licorice root extract, I think it's a strange ingredient and adds the yellow color to it.
I would like really like to see them come up with a drastically cheaper moisturiser. Most store moisturisers are several times cheaper than this one.

Most drugstore facial moisturizers are also very small. Cetaphil is the exception with it being a pretty big bottle. Also, you got the generic store-brand version of it, so that's why you got it so cheap. If you do well with it though, that's great! You can certainly use it for the Regimen. Dan knows there are many options out there. He wanted his to be exceptional with quality ingredients that are not only moisturizing but actually good for acne prone skin. For the size and the quality of ingredients he puts in there, it's not a bad price. Licochalcone is very soothing to the skin and is anti-inflammatory, so that's why he decided to add it in. The yellow color disappears readily on most people.

Price of the moisturizer is depends on its ingredients and quality...And one should not forget the brand name also..It is the main reason for price..Normally good quality moisturizer is costly as it is enrich of useful ingredients..
