Hi,

I've been using Differin for 10 months now and have been moderately satisfied (definitely greatly attributed to a 5 months doxycycline course). I have been off the Doxy for 5 months now and my acne is slowly creeping back. Small uninflamed red spots first, but now also some bigger pustules that I haven't seen in 5 months. My diet has been terrible the past few weeks though, but that never made a difference before. The seasonal change certainly doesn't help either.

I think it's finally time to step up my game. I'm pretty much into the retinoid principle so I think I want to try another one. I know I have to do most of my own research, seeing how most doctors seem to have no clue.

Anyone on here replaced Differin with an other retinoid? What would be a good option, Retin-A or Tretinoin cream? I'm a little worried going off the Differin because I've been on it for so long. But I'm pretty sure the steady line of improvement has now gone into a decline.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
