What concealer do you guys that you highly recommend that can be bought at the local drug store.
Also do you guys only just use concealer only or do you guys use foundation or whatever it is you guys use along with it?

I have a few acne scars on my cheek that I just want to cover up till my scars fade away and Im new to this whole cosmetic make up thing.

My sister told me to try that Almay clear complexion concealer

You're so lucky to have a sister to look to for cosmetics help! I am a guy too and I have no sisters and I have acne scars too. I'd like to cover them up but I have no idea how to do this concealer. I don't quite understand the foundation and concealer or corrector business >< If anyone could tell me what brands to buy and how to apply them I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks! (i feel very self conscious to go on youtube and watch instruction videos :/ )

The difference between concealer and foundation is that concealer is usually has a thicker consistency. With any concealer that you use, just be mindful that from a distance of a meter or more, no one will be able to tell you are wearing makeup, but any closer than that, it will be noticeable. Especially to women because we know what to look for! Posted Image If you dont mind that, then go for it with concealer, but i would suggest that you try a few. Everyone's skin is different and reacts differently to different brands.

Another more natural cover you may want to consider is a tinted moisturiser. This is a moisturiser with a tiny tint through it. Its not going to cover your scars like concealer, but it will even up your complexion as a whole, and give a more natural 'non makeup' look.

Good luck with it all....Its so much easier for us women as we can happily wear makeup and cover the horror that is acne.
