Hey folks,

another bacne suffer.

How bad does my acne look? I've had it for a few years & on 30th of aug went to my docs. He gave me 90 capsules of doxy 100mg. To take once per day.

So far the small little pussy spots have gone, but i still get reappearing red ones (without white heads)

I use an antibacterial soap in the shower, all over my body. Other than that I did use some Benzac 5% and then 10% but made little difference..

About 2 weeks into the treatment of doxy i did have no new spots but that seems to have stopped. I've got maybe 4 or 5 new ones currently. (which is alot less than before)


My question is, how long does doxy take? and how effective is it? Should i go back to the docs and ask for advise?

I've tried multiple topical creams and washes with little effect.

I also have a couple of spots on my chest.. and some on my chin.

Any advice would be appreciated.
