When using Dan's AHA+ as a spot treatment, does it still increase your chance of receiving sun burn over entire face?

No, it wouldnt make you more sensitive to sunburn if using it just as a spot treatment. I would be careful in the sun anyway though.....

Remember the whole thing about using sunscreen while on the Regimen is not just so that we don't get sunburned, but also so that we don't get skin cancer... BP and AHA+ both make skin more sensitive to the sun. Just wanted to add that in there, I know most of the people on acne.org are still pretty young and not thinking about long term effects like that but it's true and is a factor, so it's really is in our best interests to be careful about the sun.
But in the defense of BP and AHA+ I use both products full force and love them very much - I don't have anything against them
Just want people to remember to think long term and not just "will I get sunburned?"
