So, I've been using the Acne.org moisturizer for a while now (I'm on Dan's regimen), but I honestly don't like it. It's kinda embarrassing because it makes my face greasy and leaves some residue.

I was going through the site, and I came across Pro active's green tea moisturizer. One person told me that it works well and is able to replace the acne.org moisturizer. Has anyone else tried Proactiv's green tea moisturizer with Dan's regimen? Please tell me if it works.

I think it's overpriced for what it is. I'd suggest Cetaphil moisturizer. :) I use it on a daily basis. Works nicely and isn't too expensive.

but i hear the cetaphil moisturizer makes your face pretty greasy and oily, which is what i'm trying to avoid.

I'm also looking for a new moisturizer at the moment.

What exact cetaphil product do you use? There seem to be quiet a bit on their website.

I've used both cetaphil and the proactive green tea moisturiser.

Personally, I don't like the cetaphil moisturiser for my face (I used the moisturising lotion in the big pump pack) because I found it too greasy and it blocked my pores. It is great as a body moisturiser though, or as a hand cream.

For my face, I use Neutrogena oil free for sensitive skin, which I like, but if you get it too close to your eyes it does sting a bit (which is kinda weird considering it's for sensitive skin!!) I have also tried the Neutrogena oil free with SPF and the one for combination skin. Of the three, the one for combination skin has the most matt finish.

The Proactive green tea moisturiser is ok, but as Gutterflower said above, kinda expensive for what it is. It's a gel, rather than a lotion and the finish is really matt. I didn't find it provided enough moisture for my skin, but I am on roaccutane and need something that really hydrates.

Hope that helps a little. As you might have guessed, I'm a bit of a product junkie!! :)

Just their facial moisturizer in a tube, I can't remember the exact product but their facial range is basically the same across the board. I've got lots of dry patches though so I need something pretty hydrating, and Cetaphil is what worked for me. :) Everybody's different! I have tried Neutrogena's oil free moisturizer too, it's pretty good, I think half my issue was that they come in kind of small bottles and there's really not much of it there if you use a lot. Good moisturizer, though. :D

I agree with the idea that cetaphil is ONLY good as a body lotion. I haven't tried the proactiv green tea moisturizer but I have used proactiv and it's worked for me in the past. I found a pretty good link on evaluating the efficacy of proactiv products: You can just google "does proactiv work" and its the one where the pharmacist talks about the products. It's pretty good I find and its unbiased. If you cant find it on google, the URL is www.doesproactivwork.org

I really like Eucerine with SPF 30, it comes with the pink lid. I too find the Cetaphil Moisturizer to oily for my combo skin...but the Eucerine one doesn't break me out, or clog my poors, and it gets your SPF in there too!

Also, I sometimes just mix a pump with my liquid foundation for a really even look!
