I'm 16 and a girl, I started suffering from acne when I was around 13 or even a bit after that. When I turned 15 my acne got really out of hand and extremely persistant.
I finally got it in me to ask my mom for a dermatologist appointment and I was so lucky to get a cancelled appointment, meaning I only had to wait for a few days.
SO!
My wonderful dermatologist put me on Tetralysal and Duac for a topical cream. She said that just a topical cream wouldn't cut it for me.
Now what is your experiences with Tetralysal?
I heard that it could give you a bad stomach if used inproperly and not taken with a meal. I'm starting my course tonight at dinner.
She also said that my stomach could get upset for the first three days.
Is there any way to avoid this if it strikes me? Because I have a thing in about two days and I can't have myself running to the bathroom all the time.
My dermatologist is also not afraid of Roaccutane, so if Tetralysal doesn't work for me, or if it works and my acne then comes back, I will be starting this very strong treatment next fall.
Thanks!
