hi, i have been diagnosed with pcos and my endo has prescribed my 100mg of spironolactine a day combined with bcp i too have suffered with oily skin and acne for several years i am new to this medication and i am wondering what sort of side effects can occur whilst on the medication eusa_think.gif

I'm not on BCP but I did have to pee a lot the first few days and it dehydrates you so be careful with your salt intake. Drink lots of water too. It lowered my blood pressure but it's not that bad. I think I had a headache the first few days but it went away. The symptoms either went away or subsided enough that they aren't bothering me.
I have heard of a lot of people gaining weight on BCP but I would read the label or look it up.
