I was just prescribed Tazorac for my acne. My derm said to moisturize before applying. I've used it for the last two days, and I've been noticing my moisturizer balls up and flakes up after I apply the Tazorac.

Does anyone else notice this? Maybe I should moisturize after? This is the first prescription acne treatment I've ever used to I'm a little lost.

Try a different moisturizer and/or wait longer between applying the moisturizer and Tazorac. The formulas just aren't meshing.

I know exactly what you mean! Only for me, I get little rolls the next morning. In my experience, if you skip the moisturizer, it doesn't happen. Only do this if you do not have sensitive or eczema prone skin. Plus the little rolls aren't too big of a deal, just use a good cleanser when you wash it off the next morning!
