Hey guys, so I just had a treatment with v-beam and levulan followed by PDT yesterday. My face was cleaned with accetone and then levulan was applied. I sat for about 2 hours in a dark room, then my dermatologist used the v-beam laser on me, and then I was put under a light for photodynamic therapy for 20 mins. After the treatment my skin wasn't too red, but a few hours later I turned bright red like a tomato. My face felt really tight and burned pretty bad, so I sprayed it with cool water in a spray bottle and applied cortisone cream along with cetaphil lotion frequently (as instructed by my dermatologist). Well today (day 2 after my treatment), my face is still bright red like a tomato, which I expected, but I also have developed a ton of little white bumps all over my face. I talked to one of the nurses at my dermatologist's office and she said it was probably just purging, but I'm still a bit worried. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? And if so, how long did it take for the bumps to go away? Any feedback would be appreciated Thanks so much!

UPDATE: so I saw my dermatologist and he said I had a "very good" reaction to the treatment haha. So if anyone else gets this kind of reaction after PDT, don't fret! It's a good thing apparently haha
