you need to be very very gentle when you remove dead skin. I would normally not tell anyone to try to remove it at all, but to wash with cold water for a week and let the dead skin fall off on its own. Hot water creates flaky dead skin as it dries everything out. If you MUST remove the dead flaky skin you can do so in either two ways (although I do not recommend either, as towels irritate the skin): 1. cold wash cloth with gentle down strokes or 2. hot wash cloth with gentle down strokes. the hot water will promote more flaky and dead skin this is why i say 1 as cold water, even though the towel with irritate the skin.

Ok so i will try that, its just really unappealing to have dead skin flakes all over your face.

it sounds like your skincare regimen is too harsh if your skin is peeling, that is not normal or a good sign. You may need to change what you are using. Soap based products are way to harsh for the skin, they throw off your acid mantle balance making oily skin produce more oil to compensate so in the end you can end up with both dry and oily skin. I would recommend just washing your face with clay and honey mixed with water, honey is antibacterial. Don't knock it till you try it. It will help.

you can either use a gentle facial scrub, or u can use the method the 1st replyer suggested, they both work. what i find that works the best is when u use a soft, dampen paper towel and start to gently wipe the area of the face where peeling occurs, do this right after u washed ur face
