I've had super duper severe acne since my mid teens all the way through college. only accutane could fix it. despite that, I've had redness issues ever since. It was a silent dilemma which I've coped with for a long time. I wont be seeing a derm again for about 1-2 months b/c my schedule is tied up so I've put up some pictures to give you guys a sense and if you could give me a feedback as to whether this is rosacea or iono, it would be great.

Do you think I should see a derm again... is there any hope to get rid of this redness??

Looks not bad. But hey man try erbium fractional laser. Don't wait another 5 years for it to get half as better. You need to get on with your life not worrying about your skin. I know I'm sick of this worrying about my face. Wasted 6 years spending money/putting time/thought/energy on my face. For what? Nothing. I'm 21 and ugly because of acne/never ever had a girlfriend. I don't give a shit nomore.

So this Tuesday I'm gonna take accutane and its gonna do its job. I've been offered it twice by different doctors before but declined. So I did my research on it and am gonna do it do it do it do it :D

PS my acne isn't that bad because I was using proactiv which can mean my acne will be gone within 2 months of accutane treatment. But. I will need to stay on the accutane for 5 months.

Then if my scarring is bad after a year of accutane I'll do what I want you to do. Erbium fractional laser surgery.

gOOD luck brah.

No man this could be fixed by lasers. To be honest I'd rather have scars than acne. But you know my times coming and I'll get the laser surgery. $700 a treatment/3 treatments=2100.

Thats how much its gonna cost me. But I'll be happy.
