very new here! first post. ok here goes.

ive had terrible skin all my life. every single pore on my face is a whitehead or blackhead. i dont have a lot of "pimples", but clogged pores. i took a credit card one time, ran it over my face and i cant even describe to you how terrible it was. i also have severe irritation due to blackheads in my ears.

i have not started reading regimens. but i will start. i have 2 small children so i like to be pointed out in the right direction first, to save my time biggrin.gif

in my ears tho, theyre SO itchy and just cause me to scratch till i bleed (with clean fingers, or a qtip). it just itches so bad that it feels THAT good to itch. im sure putting alcohol on this doesnt make it better for that. but i need alternative methods that dont use alcohol.

is the only way to get rid of blackeads to remove it from its pore? (oh jeez, i have a TON of work to do).

One effective method I know on how to remove blackheads concerns a hot wash cloth. You can place a hot wash cloth over your face for 5 minutes and then follow up with a gentle face scrub. This should slough away some of those nasty buggers without damaging your delicate mug. You can also use a professional blackhead remover but remember to use it gently. eusa_angel.gif

i have one of those... but a lot of my blackheads are very old/big. some on the sides of my face near my ears (i dont have but a small mirror and bad light in my bathroom) have been there for years. so the extracter doesnt work well. also my skin seems rather thick, and soft.

I'm on the same boat as you. Don't have much money and Most of the pores on my forehead have little blackheads. I don't like BP because it messed with my pigmentation and I didn't like it and I used it for a while. I didn't like the mandelic acid either and now I'm kind of stuck. I have been using ACV and baking soda and I like those but I can't get these damn blackheads.

Can you have someone remove the blackheads around your ears that you can't reach? A sister, good friend or significant other? Perhaps you could budget and to an good esthetician who could remove them...that is one of things that they do.
