had this procedure done at my Dermatologist's office who i trust implicitly!! but it was his R.N.
Okay, Day 1- at higest level C, my skin was burning and red for about an hour...then it subsided and i actually felt ok
Day 2- first part of the day i had a party and i could NOT get out of it so i put on makeup ..a lil swollen but tolerable,////then came the hell...2nd half of Day 2 Ugh...itchy and swollen...very uncomfortable, (I WAS TOLD NOT TO ICE IT OR EVEN COLD WATER NOR ANTIHISTAMINES because this would supposedly defeat the purpose of the procedure....in other words, the reaction i got was going to produce better results....(CAN ANYONE VERIFY THIS ??)
Day 3- more of the same of day 2 (itchy and swollen, grid marks continued visible)
Day 4-swelling decreased significantly, still itchy but manageable, grid marks continue visible
NOTE; each day was literally broken up in two halfs ///the first part of the day/ and then second half...the healing process definitely takes time...and you continue to see improvement throughout each day...
Day 5- progress continues, but a question to those whove had this done: I HAVE READ IN SOME BLOGS THAT SOME PPL END UP WITH BUMPY SKIN WHERE THEY MAY NOT HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE....WHAT'S THIS ABOUT??
Anyway, it is day 7 and I actually think my skin looks great for only 1 session...my blemish marks were mild to moderate, not indented, just marks....but the real issue for me was the melasma (brown hyperpigmentation of the skin)....i basically had MAPS on my cheecks....and now after 1 treatment, they are barely visible on one side only...so, HOPEFULLY PROGRESS WILL CONTINUE AFTER THE 7 DAYS, B/C ALTHOUGH FAINT I CAN STILL SEE THE TINY LITTLE DOTS IF I GET REALLY CLOSE TO THE MIRROR
Hope this helps/ questions welcome/ i will try to get to them
Also some points I myself would love clarification on are the ones identified in CAPS

Did you feel any discomfort during the procedure or did you have numbing cream? I'm just trying to find out because I found the procedure to be VERY painful without. My 2nd time I had her put the numbing cream on but she told me the treatments were not as effective with it.
