Ive had acne since I was like 13.
I am have latin and european, but i got my european sensitive skin and my latin complexion.
So my face will turn red when i rub it a tiny bit and when i get a zit ill have a scar there for weeks and sometimes months. SUCKS

Ive tried the PILL - worst idea, becuase it screws up your natural hormonal production.
Ive tried antibiotics - even worse becuase who knows how long until they become resistant

NOW i am doing a natural clean way to keep my skin clear.
However I am up for my third Isolaz treatment in two days. Which i can say has kept my skin pretty fresh and clean and gives me a chance to start over becuase i do pick at my face and i just cant help it. I know i shouldnt and i know its going to look worse, and actually i have been doing really well at not picking lately.

This is what i use whenever possible, morning, day, night whenever i am at home and just have a few hours of free time.

Clean my face with a gentle non chemical soap, such as Dr Bonners tea tree soap or hemp soap. Big bottles and only a few drops goes a longgg way.

Rubbing alcohol to dry up oilyness
Wild Yam Herbal Extract (contains alcohol) to dry up and regulate hormones during my Period.
Also on open wounds or inflammations i use Black Walnut herbal extract. These come in small bottles with a dropper and last forever.
Black Walnut is great, i put it on mosquito bites, rashes, ant bites, and acne, its a natural anti inflammatory herb that works so quickly. I had a few ant bites on my foot, put Black Walnut extract on it over night and it was dried up and not red the next morning.. so crazy. i love it.
Also i will put drops of wild yam and black walnut in some water and also black walnut and just chug that stuff because it works to regulate hormones and rid of toxins in the liver and gall bladder.

Use baking soda for spot treatment only for a few minutes. Reduce redness and oilyness
Use BP over night for spot treatments - not EVERY night becuase my sensitive skin will be more prone to becoming red and splotchy for no reason during the day.

Since ive been doing this i havent had any new breakouts and the isolaz treatment said "its going to get worse before it gets better" but its gotten better immediately.
Before i got isolaz i researched the hell out of that treatment and everyone had bad experiences with it..
which really freaked me out because i had already paid and was scheduled for my four treatments.

Before all of this even began i was in South America for 2 months and i came back and my hormones and body was all out of wack, i broke out around my mouth in cysts and little whiteheads, and i didnt even want to look at my self in the mirror much less my mom or anyone, so i basically stayed inside for a few weeks.
My best friend works for a dermatologist and she has been my life saver. If any thing, make friends with a secretary at the dermatologist they will load you up with BP free samples and some top of the line tinted moisturizer.

Honestly i havent done much but just keep my skin clean and balanced with all the above treatments and use really clean make up if i go out to run errands.

Control oilyness is the key, but keeping your digestive system clean is the keykey to keeping your exterior looking excellent.

Drink water.. lots of water. Vitamins also. If you have a soda, you better have a few bottles of water attached with some black walnut or licorice chews to get that processed corn syrup from sticking to your insides. H2O is the best thing you can do, you don't see people in 3rd world countries with horrible acne.. its because our food system is horrible and infused with bad toxins.

peace ya'll
