I'll just post here what I have been eating each day for a couple weeks and how many skin is doing. Currently, I have like 2 spots on my chin. I've definitely seen improvement with dietary changes, but I am hoping to get fully clear and find out what is causing the last few spots. This log will be boring, so you don't have to read it, it's just a place to record my results so I can tell which foods are doing what; otherwise, I never remember what I ate.

aug 27th, 2011

breakfast: almonds bar and an apple (can't eat too much before tennis)

lunch: Hot dog without bun, brown rice, egg, blackberries, peach

Dinner: Pasta

snack after dinner: oatmeal

edit: forgot to add I also drank green tea

today - skin is good, no new spots

What I've been eating today, Aug 28th:

Breakfast: Oatmeal w/ cinnamon, vanilla, raisins, and a tiny bit of sugar (otherwise it's bland as balls) and an apple

lunch: 2 burritos w/ refried beans.

snack: safeway bagel (probably too high of a gi, but i was starving since we have like no food). i had some lemon juice w/ it to lower it anyway

drink: green tea

dinner: burrito with black beans, corn, onions, and tomatoes on corn tortilla.

monday, august 29th - status: no new spots

breakfast: blueberries (again, not much since i have tennis)

lunch: blueberries + left overs from last night dinner (posted above)

snack: oatmeal and some pasta w/ healthy spaghetti sauce

after: green tea to lower GI, thereby preventing insulin spike

I haven't been updating since I've been busy. Skin is doing pretty good, though I've been eating out a lot the last few days and have gotten a couple spots. I am going to monitor my GI/GL hopefully a bit more starting tomorrow.

lunch: eggs, grapes, carrots & hummus

september 14th - since working more on low-medium gi meals, skin has no spots and really no marks

today's meals:

breakfast: banana, blueberries

lunch: oatmeal, eggs, fruit, celery

snack: chicken sandwich

dinner: black bean soup, 2 hot dogs and one piece of bread.

dessert: DOUGHNUTS - my mom bought them and I was starving... i'm preparing for a bad breakout. I honestly have no self control lol. But, I had some acv, berries, and protein with it to lower blood sugar a bit

Status: one tiny new spot which I suspect is the result of last night's donut binge tongue.gif

Lunch: hot dogs, oatmeal, cellery, carrots, piece of flaxseed bread

dinner: coconut milk, chicken, and rice curry, 2 eggs, carrot

today:

breakfast: peach

Lunch: oatmeal, beef, celery

snack: oatmeal and blackberries

sept. 20, 2011

Recent small breakout, even though I've been on a pretty strict diet. I think it could be due to either caffeine from teas, something in the new coconut milk, or this canola oil

Will update tomorrow
