I have Euphoria by Calvin Klein. I get compliments on it and people ask me what it is. I wish I could afford more!! I really like Very Hollywood by Michael Kors and second Givenchy's Very Irresistible.

A lot of department stores will give you samples - it's a good way to see how the perfume suits you. Everyone's personal scent kind of changes the perfume, so some scents will suit you and others won't. Good way to test them first without spending the money! Mother's day (I'm not sure when that is in Australia) is a great time for samples!! I still have a bunch that I use sparingly from 2 or 3 years ago haha

I love the tiny little samples. biggrin.gif That's a really good idea! I didn't even think of that, all I thought of were those silly little sticks they spray the perfume on. They all eventually smell the same after a while. I work on the same street as a big chemist with a perfume counter, I'll go up there today and collect a heap of samples. tongue.gif

Some places will have a container of coffee beans to sniff to 'clear your palate' so you can sniff different perfumes with renewed gusto and senses, without them all smelling alike.

I went to the perfume counter today, oh my god, so overwhelming. @.O They had a little mushy container of coffee beans. lol.gif

I ended up buying Hugo Boss for women... it smells uh-mazing, but cost me so much. I think I'll buy it online from now on. Came back, and now my boss is in love with it too. lol.gif I definitely didn't have the cash to get it but it smells delicious, I want to take myself out on a classy date, hahaha.

I dont wear perfume because of the harsh chemicals in it but, when I drink lemonaid with cayanne pepper and mayple syrup people said i smelled really nice..and asked what perfume i was wearing. its a really strong smell so it can last all day after one drink.

I'm the same, I don't hugely like flowery perfumes.

Hugo Boss - Deep Red
Dior - Pure Poison
Givenchy - Ange ou Demon

In the day time I just use Soap and Glory body spray which is SO cheap and really fresh smelling.

All the perfumes I like are HORRENDOUSLY expensive, so lame. I got bought a Chanel one which I don't like so much, I actually keep it in my car to mask the smell of smoke. My boyfriend saw it in the glove compartment and bought me another bottle. Meh...

Yes!Soap and Glory is great stuff...that spray is lovely. They stopped selling it at Target which made me so sad but they are now going to sell it at Sephoras starting this month.

It was a toss-up between Deep Red and Intense, I got Intense and paid out the arse for it because I don't know the value of a dollar (I'm so gen Y it hurts). I'd buy it again but probably online. I just like to have things yesterday instead of waiting for the post. Nobody has told me I smell nice yet. Fail. lol.gif Oh, except for my best friend, who can rationalize paying $160 for a 60ml bottle of perfume. I love her. Together we're mass money squanderers.

I use body sprays too because I can keep them in my bag. biggrin.gif And they cost $5. I love how I can cheap out and overspend on different things. lol.gif

My ex used to buy me the perfume I wore all the time, which was nice, until every birthday/anniversary/Christmas present became that perfume. It got a bit overkill. biggrin.gif lol.gif

I smelled Kim Kardashian's perfume (I can't remember what it's called). Very expensive but smells like cheap hookers and candy. I guess that's how I imagine she would smell. eusa_think.gif Very, very sweet and not worth the price tag.

We have no Sephora here. sad.gif

I love Anna SUI, sui dreams, A oriental vanilla smell it's fruity yet softly sweet, not sweet like a giant pie that your forced to wear on your head or anything tongue.gif

I also love, Harajuku lovers G, some of that range smells awful, G is one of the only ones I like hehe. smile.gif

Nina Ricci, Nina, is also lovely, smile.gif

This made me giggle because I pictured myself wearing a giant pie on my head. Stylin'! lol.gif

My friend spent $160 on perfume last night. neutral.gif I'm pretty sure she bought something by Marc Jacobs. Justified!

I like the cooler scents, kind of masculine but not OVERLY so. biggrin.gif I've tried sweet ones before, they make me feel sick after a little while, like I've eaten too much candy (or pie, hahaha).

Totally check out PACIFICA. Especially if you are getting a headache from the bran you are using, theirs are all natural and sold at whole foods (and online). They smell amazing! My favorite is wakiki pikake. Yummy
