So I've decided to try H&S to get rid of all of the red marks on my back. I would prefer if I didn't need to spend $7 on a bottle of something that I'm only going to use a few times. So my question is: would I be able to get the generic H&S at my dollar store? They both have the zinc, so I don't see what would be the problem.

That's true there shouldn't be any difference between generic and brand name- but personally I haven't tried the generic brand so I can't say. 7 dollars doesn't seem like a huge expense though. and how do you figure you'll only be using it a few times? Most people have to keep it up on pretty regular basis to keep the acne away. If you want to just try it out, maybe look for a travel size bottle at the drugstore- those are usually only a buck or two.

Don't know why I thought that. I'll try the generic stuff next time I go to the dollar store. I'll repost back if I get around to it.
