I've noticed some discussion on the internet about spironolactone and infertility in men, as well as a study on its affect on women's infertility, so I'm wondering if anyone knows if spironolactone can affect women's infertility long term. Meaning once you stop taking it (I know you aren't supposed to take it while pregnant or trying to get pregnant).
I feel like doctors wouldn't prescribe it so readily to young women if it did have any adverse affects, but anything that messes with hormones always makes me a little wary.
Can spironolactone contribute to infertility long term?
