Only noticed the past couple of weeks. My acne on my chest and back seemed to move on my back once my face started clearing.
Has this happened to anyone else? What does it mean? Hormones are balancing?
Acne "moved" to chest/back once my face started clearing up

Yes, this has been happening to me over the past couple of months as well.
Being on oral erythromycin seemed to clear up my face (there is still some acne and pretty heavy scarring/redness mind you) but my shoulders and back (which had previously had little to no acne) are now covered in papules and the occasional pustule. I've even spotted a pustule on the outer area of my upper arm!
The only conclusion I have come to is that perhaps the strain of p.acnes bacteria on my face is different to that on my back and shoulders and that whilst erythromycin has made some success on my face, the p.acnes on my back perhaps have become resistant and multiplied. It is only a theory mind you.
Are you taking any antibiotics or using anything for your acne at the moment?

Hmmm. Mine has a tendency to move around. I'll get a few spots on my face, then my neck or scalp or back. I get happy when it moves to spots I can cover with hair and clothing. I think exfoliating gently with a brush in the shower helps my bacne some. I'm also trying salicyclic acid on my back to see if that helps.

I used to take Doxycycline but my prescription ran out. That was when my acne was out of control on my face. To be honest I don't believe it did anything.
Now I just apply creams. I use Neutrogena Deep Clean (Cleanser) and Benzac AC wash (BP 5%). I've made changes to my diet to, staying away from dairy and drinking water.
When I shave, I use a 2 blade razor and L'oreal Hydra Sensitive foam. When I finished I apply the cleanser then the BP wash - I found the traditional shaving soap it would irritate my skin.
