Hello. I am new to this forum. This is my third post. I have already made my introduction in the relevant board. I want to post on what I am currently doing and what my environment is like as well as what I would like to try.

My heritage is African and German-Jewish. I have sensitive skin and scar easily. I get dark spots on my nose bridge from simply wearing glasses and I have even bruised the skin on my elbows doing bridge exercises on a carpeted (rough and thin, not shaggy) floor in a gym. Eventually the bruises pealed and faded by using silicone anti-scar cream and scrubbing with a small, firm tooth brush. So, I have scars remaining from past acne that I have not faded. In the past they have peeled somewhat with silicone creams and while using ProActiv but a recent trial of a silicone cream called Pro-Sil did not help as much. I would like to try needling. I plan to develop a regimen for my face and body on this site.

I am using the Regimen. It is working well. I have not tried jojoba oil or AHA+.
I live in a very sunny area in the Southern US. It is 90 to 100° for about 5 months out of the year. I walk and bike to work most days. I see little shade. I am in direct sunlight for a total of only about 1 hour per day, but the sun seems so harsh to me.
I use NO-AD Sunscreen, SPF 30, although I don't like adding so many creams on my face (treatment + moisturizer, then sunscreen...it seems much). I find that applying moisturizer and particularly sunscreen stings my skin quite a bit. Although there is not redness or swelling, which is good.
I am very active (sweat) which includes lots of swimming (chlorinated water).

I have noticed that I get acne quite reliably from eating foods of refined sugar. I expect it to happen in 24 - 48 hours of eating pizza, deep fried foods, foods with heavy sauce, candied things. I now avoid these completely or eat alternatives. I suspect I have some type of glucose intolerance. I have not yet had blood tests to confirm anything and I don't know precisely what I am avoiding yet, although I know how well I may eat to avoid getting acne.

I will welcome any ideas.
