However, I could sing praises of AHA+ all day long. It combats acne, helps heal red marks, and exfoliates and moisturizes! Go for it, seriously - you may have an initial purge (I did) but after that it was super fantastic.
Some tips:
1. Do the "test" Dan suggests before you start applying it everywhere - put some under your jawline for a day or two and see how your skin reacts (mine did nothing).
2. If results are good, start spot treating here and there - target areas that flake a ton (mine is around my mouth and between my eyebrows) and pimples, but be extra gentle. You do this in between BP and moisturizer.
3. If results are good (no irritation) after 3 or 4 days, use it once a week to replace your night-time application of moisturizer.
4. If results are good after 2 weeks, escalate to 2-3 times a week as moisturizer at night.
5. If results are good after 2 weeks, you may escalate to every night if the flakes still aren't completely gone (or you just love how it makes your skin look - it gives me a healthy glow that makes me look great).
Also, AHA+ burns when applied but not unbearably so, unless you apply a ton of it. That's just the nature of the chemical exfoliant. Don't panic
Hope that helps!

How long were you on the regimen before you started using AHA+? I wanna try it reeeeeally bad but I've only been on the Regimen for a month and am currently only using half the recomended dosage of BP(I'm slowly moving up to full dosage) I have so side effects with BP other than Dryness/Tightness. I'm afraid of what might happen if i add in AHA too soon..

It will burn so be prepared.
I am not sure yet if I can tell if It works or not, but I am not going to give up.I am 7 weeks into regimin and its still been a roller coaster for me!!
I think you can begin using the AHA if its been 5 weeks...
I would love to hear more feed back on AHA and how people have seen results?!

so like BP, wait to dry, AHA, wait, moisturizer
how do you "fit" the full amount of BP and moisturizer? i cant even get that much stuff on my face, let alone get it to absorb. ive been using 1 pump this whole time and i see really slow improvement, but my friend whos been using the regimen for a year now uses about 2-2.5 pumps and her skin is so perfect

Oh, but just a note with the moisturiser, I only rub into my skin (after AHA) until its 'almost' all absorbed and let the last part sink in by itself. I find if I rub the moisturiser in fully after the AHA, it just ends up making the AHA ball up and I feel like I'm rubbing it all back off my skin again.

i used to do AHA then moisturizer, but i stopped doing that a couple weeks ago. i realized it was when i sleep that my skin gets dry cuz the pillowcase takes the moisture out of my skin sort of, so im trying not to sleep with my face on the pillow and its a lot better
