i just ordered Dans regimen products, but before i ordered it i didn't even think to look up if it works for all type of acne.
i don't have severe cystic acne, but when i do get a hard nodule or little cyst they HURT and last for a while and leave horrid scars! i'm still going to try the products or a full 3 months because the reviews are so great. smile.gif

Hey, it takes a long time for them to go away, but the thing aboutthe regimen is that if you do it exactly like ur supposed to, the cysts wont come in the first place smile.gif .. when i was clear on DKR i still got the occasional cyst but nothing too extreme.

Dan's regimen has saved me. I started mid March and now I am 99% clear. I also add Alpha Hydroxy's product line which has done wonders but did that after 6 weeks. I have a ton of spots and scars but they're gradually fading. I get a couple of bumps here and there but they are so tiny and never get big and pustule like anymore. Give the regimen the full 3 months and stick with it. I had severe dry flakiness for about two months but that finally went away. I would highly recommend Cetaphil's moisturizer for all the dryness. Wish you luck and hope you get clear. smile.gif

You may go through a purging period when you actually have an increase in acne but that lasts only around 2 weeks in most cases. It did rid me of the cystic acne I had developed, but the acne was still painful in the meantime. The BP speads up the process of getting rid of the pimples - for example, towards the end of purging I would get a brand new pimple in the morning, and it would turn into a whitehead by nighttime and be gone mostly the next day. However this was after using the BP for 8 weeks.

Put it this way - it takes time, but once you get it right and figure out what works best combination-wise for your skin, you'll have little cause for complaint.
