OK, I know this has been discussed already, but it is really concerning me now.
I've used Dan's BP since it was first released back in about 2003. This is the first time I have had problems with it stinging my eyes. It is bad enough that I have to close them as much as possible whilst I apply it, and I don't think it is due to the batch being so "fresh", as has been suggested, as this bottle has been open about 6 weeks or more now.
I am now worrying that it could be damaging my eyes, because it really does irritate them quite considerably. I don't know what to do - can I exchange them? I live in the UK, so sending them back will cost quite a bit.
Is anyone else experiencing this still? Batch no. is 1074, ex. 03 13.

Sounds like it might just be a bad reaction to it... because I get no burn or stinging sensation on my face or eyes during or after application of BP.

I've had this happen all the time. It doesn't happen in the mornings when I'm well rested. It seems to happen more at night or when I'm sleep deprived since my eyes are more dry and more easily irritated by whatever it is that's volatile in the BP.

happens with most types of cream if I apply them too close the eyes. I usually dont go closer than about 3cm because my eyes will either get dry and irritated (happens with BP) or large pupils (a lot of moisturizers).
