Hey everyone,
I'm Charlotte, 22, from the Netherlands. I've had acne for over 10 years now. Luckily it has improved A LOT over the years, I think I only have mild to moderate acne now, but it's still enough to bring me down and make me feel ugly, and I just HATE having to put on covering make-up everyday to feel pretty. I've been on the regimen for a month now but with drugstore-bought products. (I tried the regimen before but I didn't do it exactly right then, so I don't count that). I suspect the drugstore-bought products may not be optimal so I've ordered the actual acne.org products. When I have recieved them I'll start using them right away, and exactly as 'prescribed'.
What I'm gonna do is keep track of how many new zits/cysts appear on my face everyday (and how many days they stay), using a month calender. That's also because I'm just curious how often I actually get a zit or a cyst, and most importantly to see if the amount of new zits/cysts actually decreases on the acne.org regimen!! It would have been even better if I started the count earlier, when I wasn't doing the regimen at all, but I'm gonna start now (while I'm on the regimen with drugstore-bought products). I wont report here everyday but I'll try to report every week. I SO hope that the numbers will decrease to almost zero eusa_pray.gif
Some of you may be 'jealous' at the number of pimples I get, because as I said my acne absolutely isn't severe (anymore, was for years) but for me the amount I get now is still way too much. I know a lot of people have it much worse and I know I should be glad I do not have it that bad.
I'm very excited but also scared to start the counting.

Monday (yesterday) morning a zit had appeared above my upperlip that was in between papule and pustule stage, I waited all day until it became a true pustule and then I popped it in the 'right' way (the way that is described on this website). No other zits! Just red marks from where zits once were. (I do have backheads and whiteheads but I do not count them since they're not 'active acne' and are too much to count anyway wink.gif )

Tuesday the zit from yesterday is present as a little scab, not sure if there's still pus in there. Another older zit that I thought had died down flared up again and I popped it.

Hopefully no new zit tomorrow! I think I'll post this week's summary on sunday.

Okay, I've been keeping track of how often I get a new zit, how many days they remain 'active', and how many days they last as a scab. Scabs and red marks do not count as 'active acne', only papules and pustules do.

week 31
new zits: 3
average number of 'active' days per zit: 2
'active acne'-free days: 2

week 32
(still on regimen with drugstore-bought products, will start using acne.org stuff tomorrow!)
new zits: 4
average number of 'active' days per zit: 1
'active acne'-free days: 4
