Is retin a (isotretinoin) my best bet for comedonal acne???? I have it on my forehead mostly & it NEVER goes away! Ive tries bp 10%, exfoliating, aspirin mask, & all kinds of other crap & nothing is working. I was at the derm a few months ago & he prescribed me retin a, bp, and a topical antibiotic. I never picked up the retin a cuz it wasnt covered by my insurance. & Im tanning now & i dnt want to risk getting burnt with it. So does anyone have experience with retin a & stubborn comedonal acne????

I never tried retin-a but i did try a watered-down version called differin, which took time to work (although i quit to early to try something else) so i think it would of worked reasonably well but the one thing i can confirm it made my skin look so good, giving it a nice tan and glow-seriously. This stuff i think takes a fairly long time before it kicks in, since it normalizes the shedding of skin- s0 4-5 months?
