Ok well just a bit about me... I'm 15 and i'm on isotretioin even though i don't have severe acne... its just that nothing else has worked... i've had acne for about 3 years now and ever since i got it i've had really bad facial redness... like my body is white and my face is RED its really ridiculous! i'm fairly certain its not rosacea because i've googled that extensivly and have seen pictures and it doesn't look like what i have... i was just wondering if anyone else has had this... just a face that is really red for absolutly no reason at all? I haven't specifically asked my dermatologist about this but i think i'm gonna when i go in for my monthly accutane check-up... hmm my face looks like its really sunburned ALL the time... and at first i thought it might actually be the sun, so i worked a sunscreen into my daily regimine but that didn't help so i don't think its the sun... honestly idk what it is... so again does anyone just have a super red face for no apparent reason? and does anyone have tips on hiding a red face?? I'm a guy so i don't have make up or anything... so idk how i would hide it...

Ok so after trolling around the redness fourms i found this and the video shows you how to use oatmeal as a cleanser and all the comments are positive and the girl in the video showed before and after pictures and it was astonishing! and it really made me want to try it, so i think i will! and instead of using my current moisturizer i'm gonna buy eucerin redness relief stuff and try that...!! i'm exited! i'll report back on my progress!

I'm in a very similar situation, have you had any success reducing your redness?

How many times and over what period of time did you use the oatmeal cleanser before you saw any impact?

umm my skin felt better right away and i started seeing the impact after a couple days... but that might be from the fact that i'm about 3 weeks into accutane and that reduces inflamation and i think thats REALLY helping with my redness... like my skin is now only red when i blush or when i apply cremes to it

I'm thinking of using an oatmeal, but I feel so lazy to play around with it :[
