I went to the dermatologist a couple days ago and we kinda assumed that the multivitamin I was taking helped clear my face to an extent. She then went to prescribe this prescription acne vitamin called NicAzel. I've looked for reviews and such and very few seem to exist. the biggest problem for me is that it cost 80$. It came with a 4 pill sample, and I took my first one tonight.
I'm slightly new to the whole wholeistic health scene so I'm not quite sure what's in it. But I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of such a thing, if its worth it, and maybe what's in it?
Thanks in advance.
Perscription vitamin? Anyone heard of this?

I have heard of this before. It's a basic multivitamin (like the stuff you can get at a store). A friend of mine had taken it a while ago and she said it was great, but as for the ingredients she can't remember what was in it.
There should be an ingredients label on the package you have. Post again if you can't recognize any ingredients. If you can't find an ingredients label, go ask you dermatologist.

I'm currently taking a basic multivitamin, and I'm considering switching what I'm currently taking for NicAzel. The thing that I don't completely understand is, if it's a basic multi, why is it prescription and why does it cost $80?

Well if I had to take a stab at why it's priced at 80 bucks, it'd say it's because enough people are willing to pay that price ( at least regionally ) that it's very profitable to sell a few pills w/ an insane markup.
