Quick question,is it better to use cold water or warm water to wash your face? or is it just preference? I'm wondering if using one of the two will help the products I'm using absorb better(ex:cold water opens pores,so products absorb better?) Thanks!

Exposing your face to steam help liquify the gunk in your pores when your doing deep cleanings like extractions and clay masks, but over exposure can lead to broken capillaries. We acne sufferers don't need our faces more red,do we?
If you're just washing your face, I think cool water works just as well.

Hot water actually damages your skin and makes it dry...mines already dry too

I use both warm and cold. I always finish with a rinse of cool water because it increases circulation to the face which is good for the skin.

Yes because they can dry out the skin. Thanks for the advice!

i wash my face with bottled water. Most of the time, the bottled water is cold (but i am not sure if this classifies as extremely cold). Is this okay?
