DAY 1
Heeere we go, again!

I have a log in the acne.org regimen section but decided to start a new one here.

PRESCRIPTION:
Clindoxyl (topical clindamycin + 5% benzoyl peroxide) and Ortho Tri Cyclen birth control pills

REGIMEN:
Morning:
acne.org cleanser
acne.org 2.5% benzoyl peroxide
olay sensitive skin spf15 moisturizer

Night:
acne.org cleanser
Clindoxyl gel
olay sensitive skin spf15 moisturizer

Basically, I have replaced the night application of 2.5% BP to 5% BP + topical clindamycin (antibiotic) and added a birth control pill.

CONCERNS:
I'm worried my skin won't be able to handle 5% BP.

Around month 6 I started getting cocky and fucking around with the regimen (incorporating diff products, quitting cold turkey for a week then starting again, not using moisturizer, etc etc).. I broke out like crazy a couple weeks ago and last week started the regimen religiously again. I'm taking a chance with the clindoxyl, but hopefully by following the regimen steps correctly, things won't get too outta control.

Today - Day 1

Sweetpea, you're still around! I was wondering how you were getting on. You're an absolute trooper for sticking with the BP, it killed my skin!! sad.gif I'm just so thankful that I tried the Lush stuff as my skin is pretty much clear most of the time, I get no cystic spots like I used to and the when I do get a spot, it's gone within a matter of days. I feel so much more confident, even getting my nails done and a spray tan just before the wedding!! Eeeekkk!

DAY 3

Face is a bit more itchy than usual. No increased redness or peeling yet. No new pimples, but about 10 stubborn cysts remain. I spot treat with 2.5 BP.

So fucking stressed out with school and problems at home...

Getting a facial in about a week.

Massive chemical burn from the 5% BP, even with the thin layer I put on. Uggggh. I GIVE UP! I'm going back to the basic DKR.
