your course seems to be going suuuper smooth, thats awesome! its nice to see your attitude getting more and more positive =) how many mg were u on the first month/will you be on for the rest of your course?

throughout my whole course so far i've been on 60mg, no changing, just 60mg the whole 5 months!

DAY 43
Hey!!(: I'm doing GREAAAT. i've been in lots of guy drama the past few days and been busy, you know enjoying my clear skin! My only complaint is my redmarks, but I've practically mastered how to cover it up. I get my permit in 3 months so i'm hype about that, only 3 more months left until I leave for CALIFORNIA and until I finally finish Accutane!
I'm SOO pleased. Guess what too!??! First day of school is tomorrow, and i am going to be CLEAR for tomorrow!! Remember 43 days ago when I was having all those doubts about Accutane? WELL MY WISHES WERE ANSWERED!!
I'm going to chill with some friends todayy and have a great chill last day before school tomorrow, super nervous.

Anyways, I know I shouldn't say this for I'm only 15 but I really want this Accutane course to be over with as soon as possible because i want to start getting into smoking pot and drinking a lot of alcohol and taking shots and going to parties and all that fun shit. But I have to stay sober while on Accutane, which kind of sucks, but it's all understood! haha i hid 2 beers in my room for when I finish my Accutane course, let's cross our fingers that my parents won't find it, they've always known i've been interested in this kind of stuff, for crying out loud I did a freaking english essay on the legalization of marijuana. I can't wait to start partyinnnn, but for the meantime i'll have to make up excuses for 3 months until I can join in on the fun.

Accutane has given me my life back. I am clear, happy, except my only complaint is these damn chapped lips. I dont know about you, but i'd take chapped lips over acne ANYDAY.

hey people(: sorry i haven't been posting because life has been going fantastic(: i did have a little scare because i noticed my pores started getting obnoxiously large, but it looks like their shrinking a bit? ....well we'll see by the end of my treatment. no new acne or pimples, just these horrid red marks that are here. life is beautiful.

Hey, glad to hear your course is going well! I'm incredibly jealous haha my skin cleared up for a bit and then all hell broke loose

But! I wanted to say, I hope you didn't get your cartilage pierced!!! I got mine done in March and started Claravis in August... all of a sudden it started bleeding and hurting and oozing and all sorts of shit, it's as if it's un-healing suddenly and my regular earlobe piercings start closing up if I don't wear earrings daily, and my nose piercing is always very tight and hard to change, which it never was before. Not that it will necessarily happen to everyone but it's definitely something to be careful of! Same goes for tattoos! (not sure if you can even get them at 15-16 where you live haha but still) NO TATTOOS! I was planning on getting another but my derm like panicked when I said that, apparently it's a terrible idea haha.

Why am i not jumping up and down and crying tears of joy by now!?!??!
Damn you guys. Damn. I've come so far in these past few months, incredibly much. I am clear now. Minus these redmarks which i see are slowly fading, and for my pores, well...my derm said it's pretty genetic. both my mom and dad have large pores, but guess what, i can't let little enlarged pores stop me from living my damn life(: i notice that they are sorta slowly healing and getting smaller maybe?
So what. Big deal!
I have so much to be thankful for(: afterall, today's thanksgiving!
My life has changed incredibly much as i said. These past months have been lifechanging in all different aspects. i transferred schools, made lots of friends, found myself, found confidence, found a style, found inspiration, and most of all i've found happiness.
I'm happy!


Thank-you Accutane. Thank-you for ALL you've done for me. When this month is over I will post my before-after photos for everyone to see. I am just so proud of myself in so many different ways. I deserve this(: oh and i get my drivers permit when i get off of accutane hahha(: The only negative are the pores and the LIPS. THE LIPSSSSS. THE LIPSS. I CAN'T GO AN HOUUUR without damn carmex or chapstick or aquaphor or berts bees. i've gone through dozens and dozens of lipbalms and my lips remain have constantly remained this dark red vampire-esque swollen angelina-jolie big red lip color. it's disgusting. but when i'm off of accutane damnnn i'm gonna rock that nude-colored lipstick and lipgloss!

I have been off of Accutane for a few days now, noticing my lips are going back to normal. I feel somewhat free. Even though Accutane has made me clear (except for enlarging these pores which i could cover up..) I feel happy i'm off of the medication. I don't have to make sure to take meals with my medication and I feel a weight being lifted off of my shoulder. This is it. I'm off of it. All i've known for 5 months. I only remember dreaming of this day the first time I took Accutane. I felt like it would never end. I can still remember that first pill I took.. These past 5 months have been the MOST lifechanging for me, transferring schools, meeting new people, getting over fears, cutting off ties, following my dreams, making mistakes but not letting it get me down, growing up, maturing, and the list goes on. Remember how I said I couldnt wait to be off of Accutane to try to get drunk the first time and smoke weed and such? Well I've did both of those things last night. The future looks bright.
I am so excited for all the good things to come now that I am clear.
