I am not doing The Dan's Regiment, because I have seen slight results with what I'm doing now. I have a large number of red marks on my face so I purchased Dan's AHA+ and it is being shipped as we speak. I was just wondering in what order/what should i substitute out of my current routine.

My guess is I would use my BP face wash, let it dry and then use Dan's AHA.

Thanks for your help

Current Routine

-Morning-

-Night-
Active Health Teen Multivitamin
5% Benzoyl Peroxide Wash
Clindamycn Gel 1%(Just Switched over from the non-Gel)
Tetrinoin Cream .05% (about to switch to the Gel in 2 days)
Nutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer, w/ 30 SPF sunscreen (started today)

AHA+ works best after BP in the case of the Regimen. I've had such good results with the Regimen and AHA+ that I would dream of trying anything else, so I can't say I've tried AHA+ without the Regimen, but that would be my best guess - that it's the same even without the Regimen.

I'm really glad your regimen seems to be working for you. From the looks of your regimen though it seems like you're using a lot of harsh chemical products which will only make redness & marks appear worse. My advice, don't use Dan's AHA+. It can burn your skin something fierce. Especially if you had sensitive skin. I used it 2 days in a row and by day 3 I could pull the skin on the side of my face apart. I can compare it to looking like broken tree bark on the side of a tree. It was horrible.

I suggest looking into combatting your red marks solely depending on your skin color. Like for me I'm a medium skin tone. I use Ambi Even and Clear Daily Moisturizer because it helps my skin tone get rid of acne marks. Maybe try the new dark spot corrector from Clinque. It seems to bring promising results. Or ScarZoneA which I'm a HUGE fan of. Fights acne as well as the marks and scars it leaves behind. Just a week or 2 of that on a new redmark and eventually it'll lighten up to practically nothing.

I also had the same question about AHA and fitting it into the Daniel Kern regimen, though.

Although Daniel may give a few tips on how to use AHA (like spot treatment), I don't think it's very clear on how someone should introduce AHA into the regimen and when he recommends adding it in (if you wish).

I am now a little over a month into the DK regimen, and loving the results, though I am still experiencing some breakouts. I introduced AHA into my regimen to take care of some of this crazy flakiness and dryness that I've been experiencing still, and with no clear advice on how to apply it and when to apply it in the steps, I've just been applying a small amount of AHA on my face after BP, and then proceeding with the moisturizer+jojoba to finish.

After hearing all the raves about how AHA has significantly reduced flakiness or even banished the flakiness all together, I can't say that it's done much for my face. Maybe with time it'll help it?

So when should I add in the AHA in the regimen steps? After BP in place of the moisturizer? Or After BP and continue with the moisturizer, thus making the regimen a 4 step process?

I believe Dan recommends a thin finger's length of AHA+ to replace your nighttime moisturizer a few nights a week. If you do it in the morning, you have a higher chance of sunburn from using it and exposing yourself to the sun. So, after you've cleansed and applied BP, waited ~15 or more minutes, then you'll apply his AHA+ rather than your moisturizer and jojoba oil.

What if I'm not using any type of BP wash or treatment? Will AHA still cause some serious peeling at first?

My current regimen just consists of Theraneem soap and aloe vera gel. Should I use it before or after the aloe vera?
