hello! i've been a long time lurker, but i thought my results could be encouraging for others so i decided to create an account.

last december, i began taking minocycline (100mg per day for first few months, then 50mg per day), with clindamycin 1% applied in the morning and tretinoin .05% applied at night. after about a month my doctor switched me to epiduo at night and i stopped the clindamycin because it wasn't doing anything. i use cetaphil cleanser and lotion morning and night, and neutrogena sunscreen in the mornings.

the first few pictures are rather scary... hahaha. i have bangs though so thankfully the rest of the world did not need to see the battlefield that was my forehead.

i forgot to take pictures for a while, but as you can see my acne has majorly cleared up, as have red/brown marks! for the first two months my face literally seemed like it was falling off because of the tretinoin and later epiduo, and my skin still burns a little when i put the epiduo on, but it's worth it! my advice would just be to exfoliate a looooot and keep hanging in there because it really does work wonders (:

That's amazing results! I'm on Epiduo myself,I hope my skin will look that good after 7 months tongue.gif Your face is much more tan too,ha. Thanks for sharing! Oh also,do you think that the Epiduo loses its effectiveness after a while?

I know I'm late to the party :] but I've been on epiduo too for awhile and It works for me too I rarely ever have breakouts the only time i get them is if I am really stressed thank GOd I am not stressed that often. My derm put me on Aczone for the mornings to help avoid the mini break outs. :] Epiduo has done wonders for me the dark marks have gone away for the most part and I personally do not think the epiduo has lost any effectiveness over the time I've used it.
