I am currently healing from steroid rosacea. I stopped having major flushes at 4 months and am currently dealing with sensitive skin and redness. I wanted to make sure that my recovery is similar to others or if I should switch regimines. Right now I use the rosacea-ltd disc at morning and night. I wash with dove soap, then use jojoba oil while my face is still wet, then I glide on the rosacea-ltd disc because it has sulfur on it and I hear that's good for facial redness and seb derm (this whole thing started when my derm prescribed locoid for my seb derm, which was very mild - I should have never gone to a derm and I regret it). Anyways, immediately after putting this on my face feels kinda dry and tight and as the day goes on my face looks greasy and reddened in the spots where I used the steroids. I thought that the redness should be gone by now... there's no flushing, just a permanent mild redness. It does get bad after washing, but calms down within about 30 min. Is it typical for my face to become oily as the day progresses? Should I wash it more than twice a day, or will that irritate it too much? I know that it can take up to a year to heal, but I'm wondering if what I"m using right now should be switched. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
