So heres the deal, I don't have acne or anything I just have blackheads on my nose/cheeks which I am trying to get rid of, I used a product called PanOxyl and applied it to my face, anyway I applied it and went to sleep, the next morning I woke up and my face is really burnt like sun burnt, and theres a visible red area where I have applied the PanOxyl.

Should I stop using this product, how do I treat this burn, what other product can I try, my skin isn't really that bad its just these damn blackheads that make my nose look really bad, help appreciated.

You probably applied too much and I don't think that will really help with blackheads anyway

Yea thats possible, I have an appointment with a nurse later to get her take on it, what should I be using instead of BP? Its mostly my t-zone where I have blackheads.

If you just have blackheads I recommend just using a mild cleanser with a mild BHA product. Aveeno foaming cleanser and Kiss My Face are both very gentle and free of sulfates. There's a lot of BHA products to choose from. I prefer Mychelle's serum, but Paula's Choice is another popular one.

Start off with something simple and if you don't see much improvement you can try getting extractions done at a reputable skincare clinic, mild chemical peels, invest in a rotating facial brush(like the Clarisonic or Olay), get a prescribed retinoid, Aztec healing clay,an OTC retinol product...

Panoxyl is very rough!

Just saw the nurse she said i probably applied too much, just have to wait til its healed, I asked her to write me a prescription for a salicylic acid and she prescribed me something called Acnisal Topical Solution so I'll guess ill give this a try, but thanks for the other ideas! ill definitely look into these.
