Hey- so I'll be starting Paulas Choice regime in combination with FINACEA.

For the past year or so I've kind of thought I had rosacea, as I've had these off and on patches on my nose of redness, I also have large pores and blackheads, with some pimples having pus in them, and others simples expelling nothing but clear liquid. there's some occasional patchy redness on my forehead, and under my eyes, but it's more noticeable at times then others (like perhaps when I drink). My cheeks have clear bumps on them from the sun when I angle my head in the light, but can't be seen straight on... they go up and down depending on oilyness/sun.

I've been using harsh glycol products to treat acne, but it doesn't solve it completely - and I just kind of assumed I might have sun damage on my face...but the redness gets worse sometimes, and clears more sometimes. Last night I was using a natural mask mixture of honey, egg, tomato, and cider vinegar - washed it off and under my eyes and across my nose became SO RED, i assumed it was allergys because I also have red eyes a lot, but now I add it all up and I'm thinking I probably have rosacea... but my nose is kind of stuffy a lot.

I'm betting I do, but what if I don't have rosacea and have allergies? I'm betting I have a little of all the above (but allergies from my thyroid being messed up right now).

I guess I'll give these things a trial, and see what happens... I can always return them if they don't work out, and FINACEA is good for regular acne & scars anyways (apparently more so than retin a). I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I'll ask my doctor and tell them the symptoms I'm having before starting FINACEA, but it's hard to diagnose unless you're having a flare up (maybe I'll take a shot of Vodka before going into her office).

Any harm in starting FINACEA or Paulas Choice? How long should I give these things to work, and if I break out from them, should I still continue using them?
