My cheeks are red/rosy and very warm to the touch.... I kinda look like a sunburnt raccoon. It stings like hell when I apply my moisturizer. The burning sensation lasts for a couple of hours, but the dry itchy feelings goes on for most of the day. My forehead is clear. My cheeks are getting cleared up. I have some post-acne marks on both my cheeks and they are fading slowly. I also have post acne marks on my chin. I'm hoping the BP will make them fade away in time. I have one small whitehead on the right side of my chin. The dryness is really killing me. I probably use twice as much moisturizer as I do BP and I am reapplying my moisturizer throughout the day to keep my skin balanced. I'm thinking about finding a different moisturizer. CeraVe PM costs too much for the amount I need to keep my face moisturized.
I'm pretty sure my boyfriend has noticed the redness, too, though I'm embarassed to admit to him that I'm still dealing with acne at the age of 24. I've been covering up my acne with makeup but I can't hide it from him forever. I want beautiful, clear, natural skin. If people at work ask me what happened to my face, I'll tell them I was out in the sun for too long.
It's been miserable but I will keep on trucking.
Keeping you and myself posted.
Morning and Night:
1. Cleanse with Neutrogena's Purifying Facial Cleanser (Natural)
2. Dan's BP (nickel-sized amount for entire face)
3. CeraVe PM (using 2x as much as BP)
