Yeah, I am getting small whiteheads also! On my forehead especially, and next to my nose. I will say they have decreased since I started getting them, but they're definitely still there. I just keep telling myself that they are over clogged pores and spots that would've come up eventually. Maybe it is a transition from cysts and big pimples to whiteheads to none at all? Let's hope anyway!

At this point we have nothing else other than hope! Hehe... By the way, I got so stressed out that I started crying, I cried for like 15 minutes, which was bad,, never cried so badly.. And I am not sure why I did that.. I am pretty sure that this is definately going to give me some flare ups in next few days..I wish I could go back in time and not cry!

I am not sure why am I obsessing over my skin so much.. My skin is definately better than week 1 or 2 of starting this regimen, but then I still do get pustules, which I hate.. I am ok with taking the bad texture for another 2-3 months, but atleast the pimples should stop!

Anyways, I think I need a little break from acne.org because I think I stress too much on my skin after I visit this website. I will still be keeping up on the same regimen, but wont visit this website more than once a week. I have tried that earlier, and it definately helped !

All the best to all of you who are on the water only regimen! Keep posting ur updates!

I personally think that a good cry can help me relax/stop stressing out about stuff. Since I have been stressing more about this stupid rash on the back of my neck, I have not really been thinking much about my face..which is kind of good! At the same time though, my complexion is bumming me out. If it is temporary then great, because I haven't had any bad pimples for a while and that makes me happy. I'm hoping that my skin has finished this whole water-only transition phase where I broke out realllly badly, and now it is just adjusting to clogged pores and such. So it looks pretty bad, but better than before so i'm kind of hopeful.

Definitely take a break from this web site if you think it will help! It is kind of pointless to track progress on any more than a weekly basis anyway, because the changes are so gradual now! I am going to try to keep away also, but i've been rather bored lately so that hasn't helped.

Anyways, try not to stress about your skin. smile.gif Just keep remembering the progress you have made, and be hopeful that this transition is temporary! We haveta hang in there!

ATTENTION EVERYONE THIS IS A EMAIL FROM THE OP - ASHLEY

"Message from Ashley (ie. Mrs. Grape): Just wanted to send out a quick message. I have been getting weekly-ish updates in my email from posts on my log, and saw one in particular that I wanted to address, specifically something that Kris said about her skin starting to look a bit bleh again. I'm about 2 months in, and a week or two ago my skin did get a bit worse. It seems that it's likely just the phases running on a cycle, and I expect the issues I have now to follow the same pattern: lasting about 3-4 weeks before going away. I have had some flaking on my cheeks again, although very minor, and have gotten a few new pimples. So I just wanted to reassure you that your skin may very likely just be working in cycles with the phases, so try not to get discouraged! I already know that my red marks are so much lighter than they were, especially comparing them to the pimple I have on my cheek - it's like night and day the difference! And I can see that the bad texture caused by the flaking is only on the most damaged/manipulated parts of my cheeks. So hold in there. I know this is a bit of a cheat, having someone post this for me, but I just didn't want my absence to completely deter you from the routine since you've been pushing yourself so much to stay on it.

*moderator edit - no soliciting - read the board rules* I take it it will be another month or two before I feel comfortable posting an update, as I feel that will be how long it will take to see all the clogs and under-the-skin things to work their way out. As my acne was moderate to severe, I'd expect those with milder acne to have a faster progress rate.

Anyways, thanks everyone for keeping the log alive, and I hope you are all doing well! And btw, leaving the website has felt pretty damn good smile.gif The first few days were hard, but now I no longer get the urge to post or browse haha. Feels much better emotionally/psychologically. Definitely, take a break from the site if things are stressing you out!"

Thank you so much Ashley. And thanks Darksider for bringing her message to me! Let me tell you, last night I was about to give up, but thought lets give it 1 more day, and today after reading this message I feel so much better! Oh god its so nice to hear that someone else is also going through the same thing I am! And knowing that one day its going to be the best! Thank god I didnt give up! I still do have many pustules on my face, and small small whiteheads, but again, I am not giving up!Especially after reading this message from Ashley! Oh I miss her so much, my first month, she would be there everyday to help me pass through each day of struggle..
I hope some of the others on this regimen now like krmk, possiblyhelpful, kissdonttell keep posting their updates (although I suggest not to post an update everyday as that is over obsessing), but atleast knowing that someone is there with me on this gives so much relief!

Anyways, I wish Ashley goodluck! I will be posting next weekend on my update on water only regimen! Good luck to you guys!

no problem kris. im almost 3 weeks in and my face is looking way better now then it did before this regimen and after the inital breakout, i have minor purging but nothing serious and so far i can say this regimen is great because i believe my acne was mostly caused by irritation from the constant BP use. my face is getting its texture back, way less red and dull looking, softer skin. its just overall looking healthy like new skin under a scab. im happy with my results and will continue to the 2 month mark smile.gif btw heres some stats about me. 24 male, moderate acne (95% is whiteheads), had acne for 12 years and used BP for 9 of those 12 years everyday twice a day all over my face.

Dear members,

Unfortunately we've had to close this log for now. Not only has the OP decided to leave the org, she did so by causing quite a lot of unnecessary drama. Lots of threads are now pretty much impossible to follow, because of all the edits the OP has made. We understand that the OP may have been frustrated with the way some members or moderators replied to her posts, on the other hand she never restrained herself from posting what she believed is right either. Which is fine, if you realize that you can't get everybody to agree with you. This, together with an apparent hostile attitude towards the org in general (for reasons I don't understand, as she's made quite a lot of friends here) has led the moderators to decide to close this topic. It will be reopened at the request of OP, once she decides to post in her own log again. In the meantime, please feel free to start your own topic about the water-only regimen. OP, if you want your log reopened, please inform one of the moderators.

Thank you,

The Acne.org moderating team
