Out of all the things I've tried, BP 5% has kept me the most clean.
The cons of using BP though are the irritation, flakiness and redness (my pretty much whole face is sun damaged, so, the redness was pretty severe) - that's why I only use it as spot treatment these days.

I haven't found my cure yet and sometimes I'm doubtful if I will ever find one; I hope time will take care of my acne.

I wasn't on Accutane long enough to remember the results, but Minocycline controls mine better than the others did (went from moderate to mild).

Diet is what cleared me. None of those prescription meds ever helped. But I chose salycilic acid as I think it is the most beneficial and least harmful thing you can do of those choices.

I've used a lot of things,

Tea tree oil
aloe vera
coconut oil
water
salt

You name it!

Honestly though, it all helped... I cannot say which is best.

I have found that for different people different things work better though.

It's based on your skin and the current state of it's health I think.

Everyone is different!
