I don't know if any of you are aware of who Rick Simpson, but he is the man who has found the cure for cancer using a concentration of hemp oil. Now my thought was, "if it can literally destroy tumors on the surface, who's to say it can't cure acne?". So I emailed him, and now I am awaiting a reply.

Of course it can be cured. The government has no intention of curing it because of the amounts of money they are making off of cancer.

How exactly does curing cancer have any direct link to helping out acne? Through hemp oil?

Yes through hemp oil. Unfortunately though the hemp oil that is available for purchase in the stores has been heated to such a degree that it is virtually ineffective. So you have make your own illegally. And curing cancer and hemp oil are related because if this oil has the ability to destroy tumors imagine what it could do for acne.

Well there are such things called Skin Tumors which are similar to Cysts.

Damn government. Making money off of people's misery and deaths. If hemp oil did cure cancer they would probably making it cost a whole crap load of money.

Hemp oil has many health benefits and cancer and acne both are caused by inflammation (many diseases are, in fact most are) so this is an interesting thought! Thanks for sharing.

Hemp oil has good fats, and helps boost the immune system which the immune system does help in clearing up acne as well.

This is something too look into more!

Cancer's root cause is a mutation in the cells. The mutation, whether caused by environmental factors (such as smoking or sun damage) or just a genetic flaw while you were growing in your mother's womb, starts out in a cell. While the body can usually catch and destroy the "rogue" cell, sometimes the body doesn't detect it. This "rogue" cell then goes off and multiplies, making hundreds or thousands of copies of itself, which results in a tumor. Inflammation itself doesn't cause cancer; it's merely the result (or one of the symptoms) of cancer.

Anyone who promotes a very simple remedy, like hemp oil, to effectively cure cancer (especially without side effects or proof that it works) is a fraud. Cancer is a very complex disease. How does hemp oil do this? Where's the proof? The only way you can "cure" cancer is to destroy all of the cancerous cells where the cancer never comes back. If he actually found the cure to cancer, why isn't every doctor or company jumping on this? Why isn't this on the news?

I did look through PubMed, and out of the 93 studies available there are two that demonstrate hemp oil's antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. However, these few studies were conducted in mice and in the lab (no human studies), and I couldn't find anything that was specifically related to acne. Also, the query "hemp oil cancer" in PubMed is popular, but I've found nothing that definitely proves hemp oil cures cancer. Hemp oil may possibly--and I mean possibly--be helpful for acne, but definitely not for cancer.

Did not know there was a cure for cancer. I'm going to go run and let all those who are working on creating one know. I actually googled hemp oil and there are some good reviews but it's worth noting that some of the people were just using it as a moisturizer in addition to their other acne treatments. If anyone is thinking of trying it, I would try a patch test on your skin first before putting the oil all over your face.

No cure for cancer has been found at this point, although the best thing one can do at this point is PREVENTION, by eating cancer-preventative foods in your diet.

Hemp oil does not cure cancer, and chances are it is not a cure-all for acne.

Yes actually hemp oil is the cure for cancer, and it's really bothersome that you are so incredibly closed minded. The hemp oil you can purchase from the store cannot cure cancer because they destroy all the helpful ingredients in it before it goes on the shelf. If you make your own hemp oil it can in fact cure cancer.

Dude... there's no cure for cancer. And wishful thinking won't change that. I wish there was! But alas, there is not.

Don't get me wrong... I'm as disgusted by big pharma as anyone possibly can be. Most pharmaceutical companies seem to be absolutely atrocious in the way they put profit ahead of relieving the suffering of humans.

At the same time, cell processes like cancer, and other diseases, are more complicated than that.

Actually they have had success in curing cancer by injecting modified HIV cells into a person with leukemia. They modified them so they would attack only cancerous cells. So they seek and destroy cancerous cells, and once there are no more they die off because they have nothing to "feed" on, so to speak. So do your research - besides, where would the "health"care industry be without the revenue they gain from acne, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, etc.? Don't fool yourself, the entire world is lying to everyone else for their own personal gain. It is a corrupt system but it is what we are stuck in.
