Hello,

I'm a 29 year old. I have always had the tendency to pick, but it never got out of control. Maybe pick a few here and there but when it became noticable I immediately stopped. Over the last 4 years or so my picking has become uncontrollable. I pick everywhere, but prodominately my arms. My upper arms are cratered and scarred and look unimaginable. I do not even like looking at them. I graduate in a few weeks and will have to start looking for a job in my dream profession and I also have to wear a nice dress which will show my arms, and I need to stop picking.

I have been researching for creams or topical medications to deal with the lesions and open wounds I have created on my skin as of right now just to get me through graduation. I know long term help will be needed to cure my problem or at least manage it.

Has anyone found any creams or topicals that have helped heal their injured skin??

Creams only prevent scars. I think they They do this by SLOWING down the healing process.

I'm working on a methodology to stop picking. I got a a video up and will be making another soon.

I think I am starting to understand how to stop.

The sad thing is that if you go to skinpick.com and read through the thousands of post, not even 1% have ever found a way to completely break the habit.

I have Looked at and tried more things than anyone in the world I think. i work at it a few times a week, and sometime spend hours at a time looking at methods and reading about what causes it ect, and stress in general and ect.

I think I have 2 concepts that will cure my problem in time. I'm working on them now.

Anyway.

If you can reduce your stress enough, your picking will absolutely go away. Also any medication that increase stress, like that deadly adhd shit, or xanax shit those drug pushers give you, will cause you to pick big time.
