Before this, I've had red marks on my cheeks that had persisted for months before fading. In the week before getting the Zinc I had been taking 8,000iu of Vitamin A, and some Vitamin D3 also. I've always taken one fish oil/multivitamin in general for the past year anyway. Those red marks are reducing quite a lot thankfully. Now it's just a case of eliminating my 'active acne', prevention, and the hormonal/genetic factor.
So to anyone with major success frm Zinc (after all, it's one of the most widely popular/successful supplements in success rates) - what can one expect?
P.S. I'm taking two tablets of 25mg Chelated Zinc Gluconate a day to make it 50mg a day. Of course I'm not overdosing - but is that fine? The brand I take is from Holland and Barrett in the UK - http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/pro...d=438&sid=0
