Hello DKR Community!

I'd like to use this forum as a way to document my process with the DKR and get support from you all. First, I'll give you some backstory.
I am 16, soon to be 17, and I have not quite "struggled" with acne all my life - once I turned 16 it all went downhill. What used to be the occasional pimple turned into at least three a week.
I am approaching 2 months with the DKR, and I have not yet worked my way up to a "generous" finger's length with the BP, I really have to ease my way into it, lest I get tomato face and chemical burn.
So far I've had mixed results with the DKR. On one hand, It's effectively prevented some of my acne, and gotten rid of formed ones faster than anything I've ever used before. On the other hand it's brought up old acne and additional acne, which I was stupid enough to pick at. Now I have tons of scars on the right side of my face and on my chin, more so than before. (Is there anyway to get rid of those scars? I would love to know)
Once I get a card reader for my camera, I will try to update frequently with pictures and such.

welcome and good luck smile.gif .. As for the red marks, I'd wait til you are clear to start treating these. They can be treated multiple ways.. AHAs, microdermabrasion, laser, light therapy, etc. Anything that will exfoliate your skin and bring up new skin cells.

Cool thanks! Do you have any idea on what is the most efficient? I'm kind of worried about the cost of light therapy as well...

i dont know what's the most efficient because ive only tried the AHA.. and light therapy is just as expensive (if not less) then micro. the most expensive is laser resurfacing and the less expensive is AHA. imo i think the most effective would be (besides laser) microdermabrasion but it isn't recommended on sensitive skin sad.gif but if you go that route, make sure youre clear first!
