Puritan's Pride is a decent and trustworthy brand, but I'm not sure if their brand has soy or not. Many Fish Oil supplements contain soy so you want to avoid that at all costs.
I know for a fact GNC has a brand without soy. Just make sure to read the labels and it should clearly say "No Soy, No Gluten, No added crap that makes the use of this healthy supplement counter-productive"

If you want to be sure that your fish oil isn't contaminated, then look for the IFOS certification. As far as I know, fish oil and minocycline don't interact, it shouldn't be a problem taking both Solodyn and a fish oil supplement.

I noticed a lot of people here include fish oil in their intake, figured I'd do a bit of research.
That's a great bit of advice about the Soy, so thanks for that. I looked up a few at an online health store and they all listed Soy.
I Googled fish Oil without Soy and the brand, Blue Ice was mentioned. I looked that up and their list of ingredients also include Butter Oil, extracted from dairy milk, so maybe that's something else to look out for.
So I'm still none the wiser. Always feels like a risk trying something new, in case it kicks my acne off and it goes crazy again.

I wanted cod liver oil to work because I've read so many positive reviews about the positive fats and Vitamin A they provide. But I've now tried two different brands, and have previously tried plain fish oil, and they have all eventually given me terribly cystic type breakouts all over my cheeks. Some people just don't respond as well unfortunately. Hopefully they will work for others better than they did for me!
